Thirty years ago, Alexander and his bride went to a local department store to purchase a coffee table for their first apartment. While examining a particularly underwelming piece, he confidently proclaimed
"I can make a better table than this, and do it for less money"!
His bride (never one to cower before the arrogance of the male ego) replied
"SO? DO IT"!!!
The result was quite possibly the most grotesque example of anti-craftsmanship ever created by the hand of man.
But, he had a wonderful time doing it.
Thus began a lifelong love of woodworking. From that day to this he has dedicated himself to developing a level of skill worthy of the title "Craftsman".
